Istanbul International Toy Fair Aims to Add Value to the Industry’s Business

With the support of the Toy Manufacturers Association (OYDER), organized byöTüyap Fair, the 6th International Istanbul Toy Fair is preparing to open its doorsm at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, between 6 – 9 March 2024

International Istanbul Toy Fair, one of the most important and comprehensive meetings of the Eurasia region, which continues to increase the number of qualified local and foreign visitors every year compared to the previous year, as well as its leading participants in the toy industry, is  preparing to open its doors between 6-9 March 2024 by Tüyap Fair Organization Group, with the support of the Toy Manufacturers Association (OYDER) for the sixth time  at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul.

Establishing Robust Export Connections at the Fair

Yeşim Ulusoy, Vice General Manager of Tüyap Fuarlar Yapım A.Ş., shared insights about the most influential gathering of the toy industry in the Eurasia region andnsaid, “We are in the midst of intense preparations to provide an unforgettable fair experience at the Istanbul
International Toy Fair, which grows in popularity each year. In 2023, the Fair welcomed 3416 visitors from 62 countries and 70 provinces, and this year, we are targeting a 20% increase in visitor numbers, guided by an effective marketing plan. As of December, the Fair has already secured the participation of more than 200 brands from countries including Bangladesh, China, Denmark, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Russia, and Türkiye and is eager to showcase thousands of trending products such as stuffed toys, puzzles, wooden toys, outdoor products,m brain toys, and robots to visitors. With sales ongoing, the Fair has already secured registrations from over 4 thousand business people from 71 cities and 64 countries.

As a result of our efforts, we are very pleased with the interest we have received from the region’s market leaders. In addition to our activities to bring together procurement committees from target countries in the Balkans, Europe, Turkic Republics, Asia, Africa, Caucasia, Middle East, through our international offices in Moscow, Ljubljana, Belgrade, Skopje, Tehran and Tbilisi and our 80 representative offices in 18 countries, a Procurement Committee Program will be implemented under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade and the organization of the Exporters’ Association. Our efforts to boost the industry’s export volume are complemented by digital marketing campaigns planned in 45 countries, such as Germany, Italy, Serbia, North Macedonia, Poland, Spain, England, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine and UAE. Social media and digital advertising, along with targeted mailing, which we prepared in line with our marketing strategies, play a crucial role in reaching potential visitors.”

Special Area for Baby and Mother Products

The Istanbul Toy Fair team is responsive to changes in the national and global economy and is adapting to the changing dynamics in 2024. As a result, baby and mother products are becoming increasingly prominent within the industry. Following the success of the baby and mother products section in 2023, which attracted great interest from industry representatives and professionals, the “Baby and Mother Products Special Area” is set to attract professional industry visitors  this year. The Istanbul International Toy Fair, with its expert team, will cater to market demands and needs with a range of products including toys, baby tools and equipment, innovative toys, hobby and artistic materials, educational games and intelligence games, licensed products, and bags.

The Fair will be open for 4 days

The Istanbul International Toy Fair will be open to visitors from 10.00 to 19.00 on 6-9 March 2024, and will close at 18.00 on the last day.
Please note: As this is a specialized fair, there will be no retail sales, and therefore, guests under the age of 15 will not be admitted.
